Well, it was a great show today and I was able to meet two of the forum members, Chameleon Nation and Chroma Chameleons. I picked up a beautiful female Nosy Be from Chroma Chameleons. She will make a nice addition to my clan. It's nice to finally put a face to a few names!

Hi Guys,

It was quite interesting indeed, I was able to pick a trio of Nosy Bes from chroma as well, I have to say what I liked the best was the vibe from the Canadian Cham community, it will be nice to keep in touch and share tips, I'll post some pics as soon as I get them.

I had a blast. It was so nice to see Skeeta, Krug, Stephen, Jude, Brandy, dts, Trace, BIGBLUE, peguito, and a ton of others that I've exchanged posts with in the past.

I also had some formidable competition at the expo. Chameleon Nation was there and they had a very good day. Congrats, Drew and Tamara....

It was a very good expo. I can't wait for the next one.

I am new to the forum and to having a chameleon in my home as of this Expo. I purchased the most stunning panther at the show named Bluie. No, I didn't give him that name, the breeders nieghbours kid gave him that name. I have uploaded a couple photos of him this morning to the forums.
He seemed a bit stressed for the first couple of hours in his new home, but seems to be settling in very nicely now. He has even come to the front of his new enclosure looking for attention. He has already eaten a couple dusted crickets and has found what looks to be his favorite perch.
Anyway, if anyone wants to impart any words of wisdom to me about these beatiful creatures, I am more that willing to take said advice.

Hi KentonK.... I'm so pleased that Bluie went to a good home. He is a special guy. Email me with any questions and anything that is not clear on the care sheet I enclosed with him yesterday.

Oh, And welcome aboard , here at chamforums....

Thanks Chroma, I just love Bluie already. I have an enclosure all set for him and will be likely adding some live plants for him this week. We are trying a couple methods for water delivery, but all seems to be going well.

Harry had some very nice chams at the show. So far with Chameleon Nation and Chroma Chameleons in business I would say the Canadian market has a healthy future. This was my first expo and won't be my last.

Mississauga is right outside of Toronto (you could see the TO airport landing strip from the EXPO)
That's Toronto, Ontario.
Canada

Never let it be said keepers don't have feelings for their Chameleons. When KentonK picked up Bluie from Harry, I witnessed him go all misty! Two years is a long time to care for a little guy without getting attached. Separation anxiety is a b***h! Good on ya Harry ... you da man. (wicked beard too):D

Hey, did Trace actually show up? Nuts I missed her. Oh well next show maybe!

It was a hell of a show... (too many ball pythons) I did well for myself i've got to say. Of course I need to thank Harry again for providing me with such a good looking little guy. Harry i'll have some pictures up shortly to keep everyone updated on how he's making out.

Hope everyone enjoyed it as much as i did.

regards,
Kosmo

Hi Skeeta:

Trace walk in 10 minutes after you left. She was disappointed to have missed you ... maybe next time.

Harry you lie! I don't think it was so much as "I walked in" but more of I made my grand entrance! *royal wave* Gosh I'm modest eh. :p

Skeeta; I was very disappointed by missing you by just a few minutes. I was looking forward to having some giggles about art and the personality issues I've inflicted on your scaly family! It was nice to see old friends though: Brandy (BFF), Dan (dts), Harry (ChromaChameleons), Scotty Allen (a mentor from years past), Rob (my homeboy), Grant and the PCPC crew, Paul and all the LRRA zoo posse and my most excellent friend Steve (Mr. Hug!). Big up yourselves. I also enjoyed meeting some new folks to the scene up here; Drew, Tamara and Brandon from Chameleon Nation - you've got a good start on things. I wish you well. I can't forget Stephen too!

Kinyongia, the shows aren't the same without you and Jim!

October 19th in Montreal... see everyone there.

Cheers,
t
