Mist King and New Plants

I finally set up the new misting system after much confusion with the instructions and reading it over and over again. It really shouldn't be as hard as my brain made it because once I figured it out it was really easy. But for some reason my brain does not process written instructions well, not even diagrams >3> and I couldn't find something on youtube for the life of me. So Ryker had to live with hand mistings for a while XD. More like I had to accommodate his royal highness ^^ but he got his water and is not dehydrated at all. But now just to see if the timer works.

In the whole process of setting up the new system I decided some of the plants in his cage weren't salvageable. So I bought a new plant added some new vines, etc. Just generally spruced up his enclosure. He is quite the pouty boy right now but I have a feeling with all the extra foliage he will be happy again rather quickly.

I love the finer misting of the Mist King system, he seems to, too. I hope I have it set right, I have it set to go off two minutes for four times a day. I've realized this is the perfect amount for my boy to get those perfect urates, while still keeping the plants ok most of the time.

Sadly I do not have pictures yet, as I cannot find my camera cord. .___. Bear with me.

I definitely love my mist king system,a lot. I have a similar schedule for my jacksons. 7am,12p,430p,730p. Keeps the enclosure steady 65,and will climb to 80 when it is running and for about an hour after. I also run a desk fan next to the enclosure to help air it out and dry some in junction with the drain. It's an awesome system for sure. Good purchase :)

I have an Aquazamp with a raindome and I love it. I used to have a monsoon and that was a piece of junk. My cham seems to like it to, he often stays in the mist enjoying the fine spray. I think that there is less waste water too which to me means that the moisture is staying in the air. Best investment ever.
