Mist king timing

I know it varies and certain species need more humidity then others. What kind of cham fo u have? Someone will chim in on more spacific info. Good luck

Elig,

After you set the date and time you will have to set the timers
hit the program button once. This should bring you to timer 1 on.
next set the time at which you would like timer 1 to come on lets say 8:30 and zero seconds. Hit program button again and it should bring you to timer 1 off. Hit the on/off/auto button for seconds. you should notice the seconds move up in time. Set the time for lets say 8:30 and 45 seconds. Repeat as neccessary for the 8 timers that are availible. I only use 4 throughout my 12 hour day. You will not have to use all 8 timers. Once you have completed the timer setup return to the clock and make sure it is in auto. Press the on/off/auto button until it says auto and you should be ready to go.

Hope I got it all. I am going off of memory. So I might of mist something. LOL

Typically they are set to go off for about 30 seconds every hour. With a longer mist in the early morning. But like irok said the humidity levels vary depending in the Cham and misting levels also vary with cage size to get a certain humidity. You need a hygrometer to measure the humidity levels to get it specific to your chams needs. Always allow it to dry out completely though before the next misting is scheduled to start
