Mist King vs. Aquazamp

With the Aquazamp Raindome you will need a separate dome for each enclosure, but one pump will support multiple domes.

I have the AZ Low Profile Raindome for one chameleon and love it! I feel like my chameleon actually enjoys the rain (not all the time, but often) and will sit under it and get a good soak. Another great thing about it is that drops collect on the screen in the area below the dome. My chameleon will reach up and drink these drops every morning after the first rain. It's his little ritual and I feel good knowing he is always well hydrated. Lastly, customer service from AZ is great. Kevin is easy to contact and super nice.

I have no experience with Mistking.

I know it gives the dimensions on the site of the domes. I actually ordered the aquazamp pro collector mister kit, I can make/buy a rain dome later. No idea when it will show up, probably next week.

Some Facts

The aqua amp locks a LOT of the top of the cage...

I don't consider 12"x4.5" to be a lot of space. The LowProfile RainDome, the larger of the two RainDomes sold on the AquaZamp site takes up less than 10% of a 24"x24" cage.

Here is my panther's enclosure at home as it sits, 5 minutes ago:

If you are talking about smaller cages, an 18"x18" cage, it takes up 17.36%. A 16"X16" cage will lose 21.97% of it's space.

There is a reason I made it rectangular, so it fits better between lights, like a light fixture is shaped. That is why it is called "The LowProfile RainDome" ;)

I have AZ and the pump seem to handle all 5 of mu enclosures just fine... Kevin is a cool guy and very helpful when u have questions.. No problems at all with my AZ

ive had my mistking system for a little over a year and it has worked great. the mist is very fine and the pump is almost silent. it also can run dry without damage to the pump. the timer sent with it has a bit of a learning curve to it. but once you learn how to use it its great.

Is that a light and raindome combo to there? Almost looks like that from those pics.

That is a DIYCages.com dual T8 fixture and right next to it is the LowProfile RainDome that I sell on the website. I currently run nothing fancy, I operate just like a customer might. Only difference is that I have the pump timed off of an EcoZone Vivarium controller.

There is a RainDome sticker on the light fixture, but that is just because at the shows it blocked your view of the RainDome.

It is large enough that on a 24x24 top with the UVB and basking lamp, the dome is in a limited area.

I think it is clearly illustrated in the photos how much space is used, and how much space is left for other lamps. I've noticed you make these judgements and I am not really sure if you have even purchased one before?
