Mister water woes

I was curious what you all do to keep distilled water in your misting systems. I've been going to the store and buying it for some time but the gigantic pile of water jugs is a headache.

The other option I see is setting up a RO system on a faucet in the house (somthing I'm hesitant to do due to renting at the moment).

Was just wondering if you all have had any creative solutions to this.

Do you need distiller water? I'm able to use tap water.

We rent a house, but are on a well. I used a Pur filter on my faucet for a while, but I ran out of filters and have been using regular tap water. So far so good.

Periodically I'll run a vinegar mixture through my system to clean it out, then run clean water back through it and hook it up to the cage again.

Ya dont need to use distilled, but the water that comes from my well is very hard, was worried about gunking up the nozzles and pump. Maybe I'll try to gut one of those big ol' Brita or Pur countertop filters and try that out.
