Misting at night?

Just to clarify, the humidifer you use you can see the fog coming out? I believe the cool mist that Bill is talking about does not produce a fog?

It depends on where I set the control knob to. Full blast yes there is a visible fog. But I can assure you it is an ultra sonic humidifier. There is a single ultrasonic disk that sits below the output opening, on both my smaller and larger ones in fact.

Thank you for answering these dshuld. Planning on upgrading my cage soon! I'm curious if you have enclosed any of the sides of your cages to keep the fog in during the night. Also wondering with the rate you have your humidifer producing fog, how long you are noticing it takes to get a dense fog around your chams?

He is open sided currently so no build up overnight. Since he is open sided I have it set to full blast and it gives a solid stream down for about 1.5/ 1.75 feet into the enclosure. I messed with output placement until I got the end of the stream inline with his most used sleeping spot. I am experimenting with an empty reptibreeze xl I haven't put together yet to see if I can pull the screen and make the ones I have already solid sided like Bill was talking about though.

Actually before i had my auto mister i set up a regular light mist humidifyer right infront of his enclosure pointing into his cage... when i woke in the morning i saw him chilling out right where the stream was blowing guess he liked the cool moisture
