misting help

i bought the zoo med habba mist system recently... and i want to know if that will work ok for me. is there something else i should have gotten? because i think i can return this.....

DO NOT TAKE IT OUT OF THE BOX! It is junk. If you want an automated mister go with the mist king or the pro mist. The habba spit is a piece of junk. It spits water it doesnt mist. And it will continue to drip after it cycles on and off.

Completely agree. peice of crap. got it as a gift. it leaked out the bottom so i took it back, and the next one leaked too.

The best choice, in my experience, is Mistking.com. The starter system runs for $99, which comes with everything you need for one chameleon so plus shipping you'll pay about $110-120. It's a worth-while investment, it really is, because the system can run up to 15 nozzles, so if you get one or two more chams down the road, you only have to get two more $14 nozzles instead of a $40-50 system for each one and have everything separate.

Plus it really works very well. No complaints here!

it gives you mist, not fog. fog won't really condense into water droplets that your animal can drink from. The foggers also aren't really a great idea because too much moisture in the air can cause respiratory problems.
