I normally mist at 8 am when lights come on, then I mist again at 12, again at 3, again at 6 then im done. I normally mist for about 2-3 minutes. I may add more mistings inbetween if hes outside or if its hot out.

I do a 15 min misting at 8:15am 12:00pm 8:00pm and then do a 5 minute misting at 10:00am 2:00pm 4:00pm 6:00pm with having my light go from 8 til 9. I do soo many because I have a hard time keeping my humidity up and I dont use a dripper so I want him to have access to water more often. I do have areas of the enclosure that dont get wet in case he wants to stay out of the mist

I mist at 8 am for 9 minutes and then at noon and 4 pm for 7 minutes each. My light schedule is 6 to 6.

This is a good topic but you may want to start another thread so we dont get off topic here, you also may want to use the search function and look for diy projects because alot of forum members have built their own enclosures and have posted how to's here so others can see how they did it

You shouldnt be misting at 8 pm. that should be your chams bedtime and the cage needs to dry out so he can sleep properly.

That makes no sense whatsoever, Im sure in Madagascar it rains in the evenings and there is moisture, besides the enclosure has an hour to "dry" out. I also have a Panther while you have a Veiled, which are from two different places

Many people on here recommend that the cage dry out around bedtime. NTm, the care for veileds and panthers is very similar. Just becuase they are from different areas doesnt mean they arent similar. and by similar i mean their care, not the actual lizards.
When cham cages stay wet for too long, it can cause them to develop a respiratory infection.

Why do you type like that? Doesn't it take longer since you have to press shift for every word?
