Misting setup question

so here is another question. Sorry for clogging up the feed! As a new Panther Cham dad I have so many questions!!

So I have been using a dripper but want to get a misting system! Probably mistking as I hear nothing but good things! But here is my dilemma! How do you guys set up the mist noozles in an all screen cage! I don't want to cut holes in the screen as I can imagine it could get pretty messy!!

Any advice would be great and if there are pics of what you guys have done that would be awesome and greatly appreciated

I wouldn't worry too much about poking holes. I did, it was fairly easy. I set mine up in the upper right hand corner. I used a scalpel (I teach science) but I think an exact-o knife would work well too. MistKing sells a plastic reinforced corner, but I was not willing to wait for one so I made my own out of a plastic container. Works great!

Just don't go fitting mistking pieces together without reading... I ended up with an "extra" piece got curious and stuck it into another piece... almost broke the pieces... well I did break them... but luckily they were non-essential pieces.

That's a great idea with what you did for the corner! I'm really not looking forward to cutting the screen but if it has to be done then it has to be done lol

I mounted my wedges & used a needle nose pliers from the bottom inside the cage & poked the pliers up through the screen through the wedge & made the hole & then mount my nozzles! I did 16

I think I shoved needle nose pliers through the hole in the corner wedge because I was too into setting up to walk downstairs for something more appropriate hahaha

I have the rain dome and I love it. A very neat alternative to the interior nozzles. It does take up a decent amount of space on the cage top though.

I got a promist (got it cheappp on CList, 50 bucks for the 150 kit, like new :)) So it doesn't have the nozzles that have bulkheads. I just glued them to the top of the screen lol. Cut a hole stuck it in and glued around it with hot glue, it sprays straight down which I like.

I am going to outfit it with Mist King stuff later, but that is what I did for now. I am going to need more and those will be promists, but for this one I figured 50 bucks cant beat it.

I figure I will try to rig it up for baby cages, (If I can get it to run more than 15 nozzles, it says that is the max.) or I will use it for females and compacts for Juvis.
