Misting System for Baby Panther?

This might be a dumb question, but I am new and getting an education. When I put together my setup, if I go with a baby panther, would a misting system be too much, or would it be beneficial? I just want to make sure it won't stress a baby out? Maybe a simple dripper and spray bottle would be better??? I appreciate any feedback!

Depends on the exact age, I'd think. I got my little guy at around 4 or so months, and rigged up the notoriously cruddy Habba mister: http://www.amazon.com/Zoo-Med-Autom...qid=1438270179&sr=8-1&keywords=zoo+med+mister
with a small planter pot on top of the enclosure, so it emulates rain. It really is more of a sprayer than a mister anyways, so it works out nicely. My guy stays hydrated for the most part and doesn't seem to mind water dripping on him. (picture below)

I'm setting up the adult cage now, and I've got a mistking with a rain nozzle on that.

Nice, do you have your current mister running constantly or is it on a timer?

This is on a timer for 30-45 (not sure) seconds every 3 hours. It has a small reservoir so I have to refill it every two days.

The mistking I'll be using will have a 3gallon reservoir, so I'll be able to mist longer and not add more water so frequently.

Misters can be setup when they're babies. It's very beneficial in keeping up humidity, hydrating your chameleon and keeping your system automated in case you're not home. I would strongly recommend you consider a Mistking system (mistking.com). They're top notch, easy to setup and run extremely well.
