Misting systems

This is interesting, I'm getting ready to buy a Mistking system myself (much smaller setup, for a single panther).

I've seen lots of Mistking setups before but I don't think I've seen one before with a heater in the water reservoir. Do most people do this? Does it make a big difference for your cham? I can sort of see the point of not misting your chameleon with cold water. In the past whenever I hand-mist I always use warm water, so I suppose it makes sense.

I find that heaters in the water is not a good idea. Inline heaters that operate when the mist is on and are placed on the suction side of the system are better.

i personally prefer aquazamp from all the misters i have looked at. Plus is cheaper and good quality. i will be getting my aquazamp in a few weeks!!:D

and yes, i use a fish tank heater in my mist king, i turned it on just a few clicks away from full heat..that way its not shockingly cold water when the mist turns on.:)

I feel stupid lol

Did I make a mistake by buying a pro mist 60? No one seems to have one..lol . I feel left out. I do heat my water if that counts but the dum nut mellers wont go under it when its on lol go figure. I needed a type of mister that didnt get it all over the outside of cage so maybe I made right decision.

It looks to be very similar to what Mistking and aquazamp provide
