Misting

I use warm water but whenever the mister or i mist the cham flees and hides under leaves. i have only had him for 2 days but is this normal behavior? I see him kind of gulp during the misting as if he is drinking a little but is it normal to hide?

It's normal. Some of them hate being directly misted. Make sure you use some kind of drip to keep it drinking properly.

Some Chams are just not fans of water. They don't "need" showers since they shed to fresh skin, so there is no hygiene issue so don't worry. As long as he is drinking and his urate (the white part of the poop) is white.

Sometimes they like it more if it drops in like rain.
