MistKing Arrived!!!

Well the ZipDrip system has arrived, and if it works as great as it looks the chams and I are in for a real treat!!:) I received the box at my business and was surprised that it arrived 4 days earlier then Marty and I expected. The contents of the carton was packed well and in perfect condition. I got home and decided to read the manual and begin some of the build. The instructions are in plain english and are "Idiot proof"...;) Parts were packaged nicely in zip style bags, and the system is a true "plug-n-play" set-up. It first walks you thru the install of the bulkhead for the water reservoir, pretty basic stuff, drill a 9/16ths hole fit the bulkhead, tighten and your done. I upgraded to the premium nozzles and am glad I did, they are sleek and stylish and well made. The Nozzles are made of high quality nylon and look to be very durable. They provide you with an incredible range of movement for total coverage of the enclosure. I decided I had to try the set-up prior to installing all the nozzles in their respective cages, so I did a trial run with one nozzle. WOW!!! The pump is almost silent, and the mist is uniform and clean! No spitting, no dripping, just perfect fine mist. :) I was so excited I found myself walking around the garage misting the dogs and acting like a 3 year old with the water hose....:rolleyes::D I can truly say this is a "ZipDrip" system as I tried to get it to drip by turning it on and the then off again repeatedly.. Wasn't happening..:D This looks to be a truly great product, that would benefit any cham owner. I have 3 cages that will be plumbed and I plan to do the complete install on Wednesday. I will be sure to post the results for all to see.

Thanks again Marty, was great doing business with you, you have an awesome product!!:)

I am so jealous! A MistKing is in my dreams, and hopefully my future!

Juli,
I thought you would have one of these by now!?!? You hand water all those chams everyday!?!? You have got to have a forearm like mine from all that spraying..:p I'd keep it high on the list of future purchases.:)

A word of advice. You might have a bit more of what you will need, meaning you might end up with pieces you will not use for now, but save them all. As your collection gets bigger (trust me it will, I started with 3 chams, I have 6 now, jajaja) you will be suing the remaining parts and ordering just the few needed after, like extra nozzles.

What I love about my system is it is like a lego, you can play with it, add parts, add elbows, etc, to suit exactly your needs, and the result is always nice.

Thanks, glad you like the system. Pleasure to deal with you also. A lot went into these systems.

If you have any questions or run into snags, let me know.

Few snags.... I need more nozzles...more tubeing....more cages...and MORE CHAMS!!:D j/k j/k...

Marty,
the system was installed and programed for 3 cages in 1 hour!:)

I am running 2 18x18x36" alum screens and 1 30x30x72" flex. The 2 alums each have a premium nozzle and the flex has 2, The system cycles 8 times during the day for anywhere from 1 min 15 secs to 2 mins 30 secs per interval. The system works like a dream. The cage temps are more stable and the plants are better watered aswell. I thought I was going to have to provide drainage to the cages, yet the plants are tiered so no need to do so. I will post a video as soon as I locate my camera charger.. I can honestly say it was THE BEST INVESTMENT I HAVE MADE FOR MY CHAMS, PERIOD!;)

Thanks again Marty.

I have one of his older systems misting my PDF viv. I have to agree with you regarding the investment. I'm planning on getting another system and using it to mist my latest "Chameleon Mansion" project.:)

i ordered one, and im hoping to get it soon, but Canada post isn't updating so it may be on a truck heading somewhere here in the states. once it reaches the US border does the USPS renumber it, or will CPS continue to update me? thanks!

Same tracking number should work with both USPS and CP. Their tracking is a bit crappy. Updated once per day and I've seen it before where everything would get updated on the day of delivery. They do delivery on time though.

Not trying to trainwreck this thread by refering to outside sources.....but if you run short on tubing and dont want to wait Lowe's has the same tubing in the plumbing dept....BTW Mistking rocks !

Took exactly 7 business days to Southern California. Marty and Canada Post said: "Allow 12 business days to arrive". You are actually closer then I am too.;)

Side note: We own a 45k sq ft Furniture store here in Ca, and we had ordered some occasional tables from a canadian based vendor a while back and they were held up in customs.............for over a month!! They were cocktail and end tables...not bails of cocaine.....

for XpressPost takes about 6 bus days for Expedited takes about 12 business days. Those are the estimates, but often times it takes shorter. Cali is pretty much the furthest from me. Sometimes it takes less and sometimes it's right on the button 12 business days. It's rare, that they be held at customs, it's a small item, not like cocaine tables :D

My system arrived in Colorado today and will be set-up sometime this weekend or next week while the kids are on spring break.
I appreciate the prompt service and will contact you if I have any questions.
