Mistking or another type?

I am trying to decide what misting system to get for TRex. I have heard some things about the MistKing, but just wanted to hear from everyone and if they use one? Or if there is a better misting system out please let me know I am open for suggestions. I know you can get the basic MistKing setup for only a $100, which is. Pretty good deal. I mainly need the timer so he can get misted when no one is around to do so, and I know that kit comes with one.

I got a misting system from reptile basics after some research. I can not make a responsible recommendation since I've not been able to compare the 2.... But I do use the mistking timer as from research and price it was the best choice... super easy to use and reliable so far....

I did the same thing as you, asked about it and a few others here. After speaking with the breeder of my chams and hearing the people on here I decided to go for it. So far I am very pleased with the Mistking. Been using it about a month and a half with no problems. I didn't buy the zero drip valve, you might consider getting one if you go with Mistking. I give them two thumbs up. Also I have emailed with Marty at Mistking and he is extremely helpful and ready, willing and able to help. Obviously I have nothing bad to say about them, only good. The one thing that I would throw in is the limited alarms of 8. If you need more than that many mistings through out the day then maybe a Herpkeeper by digital aquatics. I will be upgrading to one of their systems when I can afford it. That should tell you why I didn't get it right off the git go, not extremely expensive, but it has a lot of very cool modules that I want.

Hey thanks everyone I have decided to purchase one. I read one of Martys responses to a thread and he left a few basic kit with mistdepot.com. I am in the process of purchasing it now for only $110 with shipping include. I figured that was a rather good deal. I figured that about 8 good misting a day should be plenty for TRex and I still do plan on misting him but at least this way I know he is def gettin many good misting throughout the day.

Idk if anyone has ever tried the monsoon misting system by exo-terra yet? I was wondering about this system. It is about the same price range as the rest of them but most people I see just have the MistKing I am assuming that this is the safest bet. I just want the best product for my money and that will be the best for my Cham. So I think I am just going to follow through with the MistKing.

it drips and the nozzles suck..mist king IS the best finest mist you can get..its almost a cloud when its on..for the price..mistking, monsoon is rubbish next to marty's product!!!

I love my Mist King, haven't had an issue with it sense setting it up (other than me forgetting to add water to the reservoir once).

how complete is the kit?

how easy to set up?

start up costs?

how well over time does it perform?

compared to the mist king, how fine is the misting capability?

ect ect ect...??
