Mistking question

I'm having trouble making a reservoir for my mistking. I don't have the spade bit that they are asking you to use. Are there any other ways I can install my bulkhead into a reservoir?

Yeah, you could actually just drill a hole (wide enough for the tubing to go through) on the side of the reservior towards the top. Make sure that it is high enough and the water level is lower than the hole. Then just feed the tubing through the hole and secure the tubing so it doesn't move around. I would just use hot glue or you could even tape it if you weren't worried about aesthetics.

Wow I ran into another problem. I didn't order the nozzle connectors so I am only able to run one nozzle now. Is there anyway I can use the tubing to connect to all four nozzles so I can run in each cage?

unfortunately not. if you don't have the T connectors, you can only connect the one.

go to Home Depot or Lowe's.... Sorry Marty..... but ya don't need to spend the money to have those bit's shipped to vegas.... they fittings at HD or Lowe's will be white but you'll get the job done for a lot less.

Ok cool, also is the nozzle supposed to vibrate when it runs? My chameleon doesn't seem to like it.

how do you have the nozzle secured to the cage?

the pumps used in misting systems like the Mist King are diaphram pumps. there are three pistons going up and down pushing the water really fast... each pulse is a piston pushing the water through the tube... it will pulse and it is normal. if you aren't securing the nozzle well it will look goofy to the cham....

Mist King sells a piece that can go into the corner of the cage that holds the nozzle.

I only have a few so I make my own now LOL but mostly just because I have some scrap material that works well...

I pocked a whole through the screen and took apart the top and put it through the whole and tightend it with the nut.

I have the nozzle in the cage just like in your picture. Thanks forthe idea though! I'll try and make one myself.
