Mistking settings help

Greetings

I have the mistking value system and have been reading a few threads and am worried about my settings I've got a 4 month old panther and a sub adult veiled I have 1 nozzle in each cage and have it set up to mist 3 times a day for 5 min at a time 7:00 am 1:00 pm and 7:00pm. I have the nozzles set so that if they choose they can get out of the mist if not in the mood. Is this too much for my panther I bought a back up pump motor just in case so if I have to I can set my veiled on a different schedule. Also need ideas to help drain the water from my panthers Exoterra bottom I have been emptying it out by hand and didn't know if there was an easier way.

I have 4 24x24x48 and I use 2 per cage, Mostly because I don't know where the cham is at that time I would hate for him to be on the far front bottom of the cage and maybe if he wanted to get a misting work his way all the way to it, So I put 2 in to get full coverage, But I have a promist system and 48 nozzles + http://www.reptmart.com/p-2689-mist-king-seconds-timer-for-sale.aspx all goes well

Timing seems okay are you using any live pants, if you are depending on the cham 5 mins could be a lot I have been doing 1 min in the morning 3 mins afternoon and 2 mins in evening. Just to keep my humidity as well as their water fine.

as far as "them not being in the mood" I have many branches, leaves, vines they can go to If he need to "get out of the mist until it stops" then he goes back to his perch

many people have different suggestions and setups it's what you feel comfortable with, as well as how big of a cage you have.

I have some pothos in there Currently but i am going to try to go get some more plants to add in this weekend if i can. His cage size is 18x18x18 and even being a screen cage my humidity levels stay around 50% my temp in the low to mid 80s and around 90 in the basking spot. Do you think I should get a few more nozzles.

I have a fern in mine I have my digital temp and humidity sensor in the middle of the cage and another up where the heat is, even though mine is 24x24x48 I try to get around 70% humidity and it stays perfectly fine. But I have 2 nozzles and I don't overly mist until desired humidity is met.

If your setup is close to a window a draft could be affecting humidity (maybe), as well as possible heat. But if the heat is good then maybe the plant is small or maybe testing with a digital gauge and see what it reads. If you are not using one already
