Mold in egg container.

I am 6 weeks into incubating 26 BB ambilobe eggs. I check on them 1-2x a week. Tonight when I checked on them I noticed that there is mold starting to grow on the sides of the container the eggs are in. The eggs themselves look good, no signs of mold. My question is, should I do anything about the mold in the container, or should I just let it be?

I would wipe it off with a damp paper towel.

But if you are able to you could move the eggs to a new container with fresh vermiculite. How wet is the vermiculite you have in there now?

You still have some time to go so I would change container and vermiculite. You don't want the mold spreading to the eggs.

Thank you both. I will work on moving everything to a new container today. There is no mold on the vermiculite yet,but I will move the eggs into fresh vermiculite to be safe.

Chase, the vermiculite is just wet enough that I can almost squeeze a drop of water out if I really try. The humidity in the incubator was 97% last night.
