Molly update, not well...

I missed the early days of Molly. How old do you think she is?

Another idea: does she need a laying bin?

You've done such a wonderful job recuperating her that her body might have decided it was healthy enough for a batch of eggs. That's just a wild guess without any support but I thought I should toss it out there.

Sorry to hear about your loss.

I only saw this thread now and after seeing the pictures she looked quite dehydrated to me because of the way her legs, tail and head looked.

I'm so sorry! You both were strong and put up a fight. You did the best you could and I'm sure Molly appreciated it. My thoughts are with you.

I'm so sorry you lost her :( - you did your best and more for Molly. She will leave you with special memories of a special girly-cham.

I`m so sorry that poor little Molly didn`t make it :( You really did everything you could and i am sure she appreciated having a true friend in her finally weeks. She was such a little fighter and i really hoped she would make it. I`m totally gutted RIP Molly. :(

I am SO sorry to hear about Molly. Our Rosalita just passed away this morning as well (we had her about a month, she's been sick for a couple weeks). I was at work when she passed and got the message from Sean. I've been crying since I got home, so I definitely feel your pain. It's amazing how we take so much care of them when they are sick and how attached we get.

I just keep telling myself "We did all we could, and for that month or so, she had a much better, happier home than if she were still at that terrible pet store." Just keep thinking about how happy you made her and how loved you made her feel. I swear to you it works.

My condolences on your loss.

Though Molly is gone her story has touched many people so rest assure her memory will carry on.

Thank you everyone. It was so sudden I really only had a few hours to get my mind set for it. I feel so sad and I can't help but feel it was my fault. My coworker thinks she may have gone septic with her infection and I wish I had gone with my gut and persuaded the vet to remove her infections. I do not know what I am going to do with her, my mom says I can bury her in her garden but I really want to cremate her. Has anyone tried cremating themselves? It can't be too hard can it?
