Monty Head Bobbing!

This afternoon, Monty saw his refection and reacted to it by head bobbing! It was the cutest thing ever! Now, I am interested to know if Jacksons (and chams in general) head bob only as a mating thing or if it is also done as a threat gesture to other males? Here's a video of the little sweetie!

While watching Chameleons of Madagascar they showed a few different species do a head bob towards both males to intimidate and females to impress. I just can't get over how big he has gotten since you got him! He was such a wee little thing and now he thinks he's the man!

He really does! He is so wonderful! Before when I showed him a mirror he showed no reaction at all. He leaves little 'presents' on his branches now too, lol! He weighed 2g when I got him and last week he weighed 27g and is almost 9 months old.
