Here are a couple of pictures of Mr. cristatus.
About 4 months into his acclimation here and he is getting kind of chunky!
I am particularly happy with the weight he has put on his legs ... they seemed quite thin and frail when he came in (although I am used to veiled legs).
He is hand feeding and feeling quite comfortable here.
Another species in this genus that I have to control myself with feeding.
It is so rewarding to have him take a roach or cricket from my hand.

edit/addition: His gular edema seems to have mostly subsided (I do think it was the gut load) I am feeding his crickets and roaches a mixture of dark leafy greens now.
Also, the eggs that the female we lost laid on 6/14 are doing well. There are 8 left and they are growing.
