Mouth Open

So I came home and seen my cham with his mouth open. I checked the basking area and the temp was 92 so I moved the light up and now the temp is 83. I think that is what the problem was, I'm hoping he was just tring to cool himself off. My question is can he be opening his mouth because he is shedding on his head? When I took the pic it was pretty hot outside as well. This is the first time I'm noticing this.

He did eat about 10 dubia roaches today. 3/8" which are pretty small.

I would think it was because he was a little hot. I have noticed my veiled doing this on extra hot days. You did the right thing by raising the light to cool him off.

I agree with@Virgil 1972. Keep an eye on him and make sure he drinkers so he stays hydrated.

he said he was starting shedding, maybe its that his skin is drying out, could be wrong. could be a washed out image from the sun too.

He is getting ready to sleep. I never seen him sitting like this but you can see a lot if shedding now.
