Mouth opened with revealing tongue??

This will be the first time to witness Kiddo(male Veiled) have his mouth opened with his tongue showing. What is this a sign of? I did my best to take the picture while he was doing that, apologies for poor quality picture.

Also, I see him do some swallowing sometimes. As far as me being there to see that, I've only seen it once every other day. Does anybody know what's going on with my cham?

its hard to see. i can make a few guess to whats causing it. are your temps to warm? if so they will bask with thier mouths open (like a dog). my second guess is maybe FF or some other small flying insect is in the cage.. sometimes even the big chameleons will go after a FF just for fun... just watch closely...
