Moving across the country

My husband is a Marine and we just found out that we are moving from North Carolina to California the end of March. I wanted to go ahead and ask this so I can get prepared to move my chameleon. We will be stopping in Texas for awhile which is where we are from. It's a 3 day drive for us, so should I drive with her or should I ship her to my mom over night? She knows alot about chameleons so she would be in great hands, would that be less stressful for her? From where we are from in Texas it will only take a day from there so she should be fine right? Or should I just get her sent to us again once we get there?
Thanks in advance!!!

I would suggest a shipping to your moms and then drive with her for the one day. I have never done it but would imagine the shipping would be a little less stressful then the drive.

Wow you need to talk to Michelle of Josh & Michelle (joshdhensley forum name). They are going from California to North Carolina the end of March. You guys could exchange information.
They are shipping their chams up to me for babysitting until they are ready. I am sure shipping yours to your Mom would be best ad will give you time to get settled. Where are you going, Camp Pendleton or 29 palms? Good Luck.

shipping cham

yea i would ship it to your mom since she knows about chams already. Don't want to stress out ur cham, we know how they get when they are. :)
