Moving!!! Please help with shipping chams in the heat!!

So I have been offered and accepted a job in Nevada, we live in Michigan now. Well this is my question...How do we ship our chams safely in the heat of the summer. I know Nevada reaches temps of 115F this time of year. How will I ship them??? I know people use hot and cold packs for inclimate weather but I do not know how the packing is handled. Would anyone with a lot of shipping experience be kind enough to give me some step by steps on this...pictures would be amazing too! Any and all help on this is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance!

search shipping on the forum you will find this question has been answered.

important things, fastest shipping you can afford
temp control heat cold pack
humid- use wet paper towels or napkins inside contained with cham
use styrofoam walls to line the inside of the shipping box
pack with dry packing paper
put cham in a good sized plastic container ( air holes of course)
use the papertowels in with the cham

try to add something sturdy inside the plastic contained for the cham to hold on to

write fragile live animal on the box all over it

Is it not possible for them to travel with you? It is really hot for shipping right now. When are you planning on shipping them?

You can use a plastic box but also think about using snake bags. I have received a few chams in plastic boxes with holes and when I opened the box it was very death smelling (like musky mixed with fecal smell). The chams ended up doing well but I don't know how long they could last in the box. So, INHO I would go with some kind of bag with a wet paper towel inside.

Where would you get a temp. controlled cold pack? I didn't realize there was such a thing. I was thinking a regular cold pack but was obviously concerned it would not stay cool long enough. I am shipping one of them out by next Monday.

Shipping overnight is not an option...that is going to happen. Waiting until Nov. when the temps drop is not do-able. I am moving in July.
