Mr J isn’t doing so good

So today I come in to see him not doing so good and I decided to keep a very close eye on him all day. About 20min ago I noticed him just hanging by his back two feet so I immediately ran to get something to place under him and once I came back he was on the floor about a 1 foot drop from where he was. He was twitching and it scared me to death I started crying. This damn ups drive did something to him and now he may die because of this. He keeps having what looks like seizures now and he goes limp. I will attach a few pics and video of he is doing. He is sitting on my hand now so he has some kind of warmth.

Where did you get him from? I saw your complaint about the driver, but honestly, most reputable breeders/companies pack them well enough that it shouldn't be an issue. I'm sorry this is happening, I'd be furious.

Has he had any calcium or food since you got him? Low calcium or low glucose can cause seizures. So can other things but those two are treatable.

I got him from flchams and to be truthful they could have done way better. In the container the was one tiny square piece of paper towels and in the box surrounding the container was just one news paper sheet the was wrapped around the container and nothing else. There was plenty of space for him to bounce around in the container and for the container to bounce around

He ate two roaches gutloaded and covered in calcium and he also drank a for a long while too. Today I put in roaches with calcium and he completely ignored them. I also don’t know if he drank at all today. I have the mister on to spray every hour for 3 min cuz he is shedding and his eyes looked sunken in

Yeah that's not good, when I got off kammerflage, tree candy, action Jackson(cf member), and distortionz(cf member), they all packed it tightly and padded. FedEx screwed up a package and was forgotten in one of their trucks and my cham still arrived fine the following day.

He just passed away I’m heart broken. Just my dang luck for this to happen.

Sorry for your loss. I just read about your ups experience. I'd be gutted. I feel like the tossing around could have had some negative effect. Seriously, it could have caused internal issues - possibly to the brain.

I hope you have called them back to let them know that the chameleon which was tossed around has died. Also let FLChams know. I hope that they send you a new one given the circumstances.

I talked to mike and he said to remind him on Monday and he will send me a new one but I’m sooo torn up it’s crazy I only had him for a little over a day.

Well then you can probably rule out anything you did, because you had him for such a short amount of time and couldn't have done anything. plus, it sounds like you did everything you could.

I can’t post the video I have of how he was seizing. It was completely heart braking seeing him do that and I couldn’t do anything for him. I did speak with them and they did say they will send me another one. I just hope I get a better ups driver this time or they ship by fedex instead.

Wow from flchams? That's so sad... r.i.p little buddy. I'd be completely drained. I hate how some delivery drivers are terrible terrible. Very good of mike to send you another one.

My goodness, I'm so sorry to hear this. I'd share the awful video with the manager at ups, and contact his higher up. That's appauling to read about, I cannot imagine witnessing in person .it actually terrifies me in consideration of a future addition as well. I may have to look for breeders close enough to vacation to or local only.
