It is only 6 MP, although MP don't mean anything really. It was taken without a tripod on a Nikon D40 using a 60mm mirco lens.

Well said... My Nikon D50 takes better pics than any camera I've seen, even these low priced 10MP pocket sized cameras; MP doesn't mean too much... I love my D50.
