Good day just want to find out if these multi vitamins are safe to give for a chameleon as we struggling to find other in south africa

Do you have Arcadia supplements there, available online or in person?

So this one is good for your plain phosphorus free calcium without D3. This is what you would use at all feedings except when you use a multivitamin 2x a month.

Noted why I always double check because there so many stories of people giving the wrong vitamins and powder that there chams die in two months and it a good thing I did thank you so much again

Ok per both of these options... THe exoterra covers everything but does not have vitamin A. The gargeer unfortunately I would not use. They design this to be more of something you would put on veg. It has a crude protein level of 15% min which is why I say this. In these topical additives that you would essentially feed your insects they break down the fat, ashe, protein etc. You do not see this in straight multivitamin supplements. Also note you should not give this type of thing to any roach because of the high protein level. This can create a uric acid build up. So this one is not a multivitamin option.

I use a combo: Reptivite or Repashy (LOd should be fine if you have proper UVB lighting), calcium powder without D3 (I don't know which one is best I just use zoomed), and gut loading insects with fruits, grasses, and vegetables that are tortoise safe and also sometimes I take the insects and put them in a cup with repashy superload for 24-72 hours.

Hey there just wanted to touch on a few things here to expand the information in your feedback for those that do not totally understand these topics that are reading it. Since supplements and gutloading is complex with so many options.

Repashy LoD is something that is a commonly advised multivitamin supplement. All cages should be equipped with proper UVB. But the only multivitamin that is imperative on having the correct UVI levels is Arcadia's revitaliseD3. Just to make it clear here is why. RevitaliseD3 has 2.3k IU/lb for D3 and 23k IU/lb in vitamin A vs Repashy calcium plus LoD version that has has 8k IU/lb for D3 and 80 IU/lb in vitamin A. This is why with the revitaliseD3 you have to have UVB lighting spot on because the oral D3 levels are so low. So this makes it the only one that you have to have UVI on point.

Additionally repashy LoD and regular calcium plus version have been used on a more frequent bases in conjunction with T8 fixtures due to their lower output ability. Since we now have T5HO fixtures with a high output level this is not seen as commonly in the hobby now. Those that stayed with this supplementation on a regular frequent basis and a T5HO fixture have seen negative effects due to the the combination. Everything from D3 toxicity to frail brittle bones as there is simply too much D3 between the Oral and the D3 conversion process from UVB lighting.

With repashy superload this should not be given to any roaches because it has a high protein level. Which means the roaches will have higher uric acid levels that your cham in turn has to try to remove from their system. High uric acid levels in chameleons can cause issues of gout. Repashy bug burger is safe to use on roaches as well as it has less protein.
