mushrooms for dubia?

can the roaches eat mushrooms ?
the mushrooms are Cremini ( portobellos ) and the common white - I have a friend who gives me all kinds of stuff for them, but I always toss these - being a "fungus" , I thought they would be bad for them - or not ?? I can find no info on feeding these -

Toss a shroom in there and find out

My roaches will eat nearly anything.
I don't know what, if any, nutrient benefit they provide, but as long as they are the kind people eat, I would think at least they are not toxic.

yeah, I am thinking of making a " victim " colony - lol one who I feed things I am not sure of - I need to kill off some of these roaches- I think I have over 10 K now or keep them until the chicks and baby turkeys come in- and use them as snacks - I still hate them but I just never know what is safe when it comes to weird food for them

Mushrooms are high in phosphorus, all the bearded dragon websites state to stay away from them as they can be toxic to beardies, they are high in phosphorus etc. I know they also contain vit D3, so you would want to watch that. I'm not 100% sure whether they would be a good food for the feeders.

thanks - I will just skip them - it just kinda sounded "wrong" - to feed them fungus - lol
