i just got a baby chameleon two days ago
and i been trying to feed him crikets by picking them up with tweezers and holding the cricket up to his face but he just crawls away.
are the tweezers too small he seems to be scared of my hand
i put about 10 crikets in his cage and be doesnt seem to be eating those too

Hey, welcome to the forum.

Don't try to hand feed your baby cham. Just let him hunt his prey. When he gets older you can give it a try. Also, he may need a couple of more days to adjust to his new surroundings.

Try cup feeding, worked amazing for me right away. I had to show my chameleon there were crickets in the cup first, but he adapted to it right away. Plus its a good way to keep track of how much they eat :D

Hi! Welcome.

You've gotten great advice. I think I would just let the feeders go and let the chameleon hunt....if you are worried that your chameleon won't find the feeders you could put a piece of apple in the enclosure to attract the crickets. Your chameleon can just pick them off the apple.

Cup feeding means putting the crickets in a container that the chameleon can then "hunt" out of. If the container is small, it might be necessary to hobble the crickets (pull off their back legs) so they don't jump out.
