My bearded dragon laid eggs last night!

Tina the fat lard laid her first clutch last night! She was breed to my male Sonny so hopefully they are fertile!

You will be able to tell if they are fertile right away. Just candle them you should see a small red blotch at the top if there is one then they are fertile.

I already have a huge dubia colony and also breed crickets and superworms so I got it covered!

@Ruthless is it typically for a large part of their first clutch to be slugs? Hers was exactly 50% slugs, they where yellow and about half the size of the fertile ones. Also, they where much softer and not leathery like the fertile ones.

It would just depend on how many times they breed. I was also thinking to myself that’s a small clutch. In mine there was only 2-3 slugs at most never half the clutch. My clutch’s were in the 25-30 range. Just like chams they can have multiple clutch’s and if she is going to produce more eggs why not put them back together to insure a higher fertility rate.

Yeah he head bobs like crazy and does pushups when he sees a female, and the females do the hand wave thing. It looks like there doing a Jedi mind trick
