My cham is not growing

We have had my cham for five months he is about 4 inch long and when we got him they said he was five months ( we just figured about two) but he hasn't grown in the five months we have had him he has shed once is it possible petco sold us a dwarf cham

Please post some photos. It's possible that he has parasites. Parasites keep them from growing, especially cociddia. I recommend a fecal.

My chameleon has started to shed after 3 months after we had him (that was yesterday). It is possible he will grow very slowly because reptiles won't stop growing until full size. He looks kind of skinny. A fecal test (fecal means poop) can be done by a vet, but make sure it is a good vet (a herp vet). He is beautiful though, and looks healthy otherwise.

IMO cociddia is one of the worst parasites our chameleons can get. A fecal is a test that the vet performs on your chameleons poop to see if he/she has parasites. After seeing your picture I highly recommend you take your chameleon to a vet with chameleon experience for a check up and fecal.

Yes that is him
