So i got my graceful chameleon about a week ago. She is eating fine and drinking alright, i do dust her crickets in calcium powder and do daily mists. I have a 50 gallon mesh terrarium with a 150w infa red and a 10.0 uvb/uva light. basking area stay around 83-85 and her bottom of the terrarium is 68-70. So for the past couple days when she eats her crickets, she would move all funny when she went to get them, almost like she was really shaky. she sits in these weird positions, i donno if that has anything to do with it but yah, any help would be awesome, im really hoping its nothing like mbd :(

My Jackson's buddy will sometimes do this when I handle him. Is this possibly because he is frightened?

Hi!
exo terra infa red 150w and 10.0 uvb/uva. around 12 hours with each of and on.

Generally this board does not recommend a red bulb. A regular household incandescent, the type you can get at the grocery store, is fine. I would suggest trying a 60 watt bulb and see what that gives you for a basking temperature.

Typically we recommend the Reptisun 5.0 UVB bulb.

Just something to consider.

Wow is the cage really 6 feet tall? If it is then I would stay with the 10.0, it penetrates further into the cage. I would change out the red light for a regular one as mentioned.

I lice just south of you, I am across the border in Havre, Montana. Making a trip to Medicine Hat in July after company is all out of the house. Let me know if you want to meet up.
