No sun really comes into the cage except for a little from the screen door, but only for a couple hours

Then you should probably keep your lighting up. However, the lighting that you have now isnt doing much for you. You need to get a linear T5HO 5.0 bulb. The compact one you have in the dome doesnt provide enough UVB for your cham to be healthy. If you're able to put him somewhere where he gets much more natural sun in to his enclosure then you might not need it. Could you post some pictures of your enclosure? That would help determine what you're needing to fix

He is on a table ? Is Maverick in a screened room like a sun porch or just a cover over him ? Dragon strand are really nice . Or build one if your are handy .
You. n go with some really nice plants living in Florida . Grape vine works well along with branches .

Is he in a sun room ? If he is you will need the lights , you will need to change what you have .

Ok yes he needs light then sorry I thought he was out side .
You will need a fixture as well . There’s a few places to get them but will need to order them.

Ok yeah you absolutely need to upgrade your lights. The light coming in through there isnt doing you any good.

Ok yes he definitely need lights . When you get the new condo he will need a bigger table/stand the base will be much bigger .

If you go with lots of foliage you will need a 10.0 uvb .

He needs nothing on the bottom .

Ok, I didn't think they belonged in there, but my dad told me to always keep the water bowl full just in case he wanted to drink from them and I told him that chameleons don't drink from bowls and he told me to leave it in there anyway. My dad got me all my stuff for Maverick and didn't ask me first, and he has had lizards and chameleons before, but I guess he doesn't know as much as he thought.

Yes, pothos is a good option. Hibiscus is also safe, but they require a HUGE amount of light which is typically difficult to provide without adding dedicated plant growth lights to the enclosure
