My cham :)

This is my cham, and we are going to the vet tomorrow. I think he have a respiratory infection. This is some pictures on him, he has a strange name, it's Mekaan. I will send som pictures in tomorrow on his cage.. Does he look sick? :(

incase you didnt alredy know...URI symptoms consist of mucus bubles or mucus at the back of mouth/ sometimes in nose...and gaping...( meaning they leave there mouth open for periods of time....sometimes this can also mena its to hot in the cage...then lower your wattage in your basking bulb....just loook for mucus) high humidity/ heat...meaning anything over 70%whith high heat for a long period of time causes URI.
 
Yeah thank you, I read that.. And it's my fault too beacuase when i bought the chameleon the owner of the store told me to put booyh bulbs in the cage, the 60w and the coil uvb. Then i found this forum and it saved me, i didnät know better, so i tossed the coil uv bulb and bought a repti glo 5.0 and moved the 60w bulb outside of the cage. And we are going to the vet in 30 min and everything after that will be fine i hope :)
 
Thank you :) The vet visit went great! I live in sweden and the vet got all exited when she saw my little cham :) I Gow some atibiotic and i need to drip it in to his mounth every day for 14 days. Do anybody know how to open a 3month old chameleons mouth without hurting him? Please give me som tips :)
 
:eek: Can't help you on how to open his lil mouth but I'm sure some ne will chime in soon! Glad all went well and you cham is on the road to recovery!

Yeah I hope somebody will help me :) Sweden cool? Nah, it's coold, thats the right word for Sweden! haha :)
 
I don't do cold well either, but i got to, haha! Im maybe going to california over christmas and new years eve :)
 
That would be a cool trip! Visiting family or friends? Its not the warm season but checking out the tempetures there in Sweden your going to be quite warm here!:D
