My Chameleon Ate A HUGE Cricket!!!

I have a 6.5-month-old veiled chameleon. He eats a normal diet. I just went to get him more crickets and one of them was huge when i poured his meal in the enclosure. I kept trying to find it but i couldn't! I usually feed him small crickets but this one seemed to be an inch!!! I never found it and i am still looking now. I think he ate it! Is he going to get sick!!!?? I am very worried about my boy. I know they only eat as much as the desire but i kept trying to remove the cricket from his enclosure and i never found it. Please help me! I am looking now and there is a small bulge on his underbelly near his neck. I know of a vet nearby that can help. What do i do!!??

I would set up a dripper if you have one, about 10 minuets after i feed my chameleons i put on their drippers so they can wash down their food. I think your cham should be fine though I'd just keep an eye on him.

The bulge in his stomach went away but i want to make sure the cricket will "process" correctly and not hurt him. I have a sprayer that sprays the leaves and a small dripper so i hope that will help

By 6.5 months old he should be able to eat a large cricket. I wouldn't worry to much. I just wanted to remind you to take any uneaten crickets out of the enclosure before he goes to sleep or the crickets can eat in your chameleon when he sleeps.
