Maybe he has something stuck in his eye? This happened to my guy once. I got some plain saline contact solution and dropped some in his eye and it seemed to helpvideo

no, cause we can not get a temperature under 20 Celsium at night. Therefore we dont use a mist. We just spray a watter every evening before the sleeping time. Are you misting the cage at all to give him the opportunity to clean out his eyes?
So I am speaking to misting the cage during the day not fogging at night. And what I mean by this is a good 2-4 minute misting morning right after lights kick on and in the evening a few hours before lights kick off. Not only does this give an opportunity to drink but an auto misting system like a mistking produces a very fine mist that sprays all over the cage and allows them the ability to go directly in the mist and they will clean their eye turrets. I am willing to bet he has something stuck in the eye but with you not misting the cage and giving him the moisture he needs to rotate the turrets and clear the debris it is just causing further irritation. So where you end up is a chameleon that has something causing irritation. They pull the turret in and constantly close the eye because it is uncomfortable. In the end if they are not able to clear it you can see issues of infection and damage to the eye depending on what it is.no, cause we can not get a temperature under 20 Celsium at night. This is incorrect. He should be getting 3-5 feeders every other day. And to supplement correctly you have to lightly dust every insect that day. Arcadia is a very specific feeding system done in an 8 feeding cycle so you have to put it down on a calendar especially when you switch to every other day feeding. We supplement yes to give additional vitamins but also to balance the phosphorus level of the insect. This is why you have to dust them all. See rotation below... But I see you are using EP-A, CalMg, and EP-CA. What multivitamin have you added for vitamin A and D3? None of what you have in your rotation include these fat soluble vitamins.
- Feeding - only crickets, 2-3 every day, hydrogel and mixture for crickets
- Supplements - (arcadia system) A,A,A,C,A,A,A,D3 every day i keep this system but only one cricket is covered with suplement
Hello , thanks for your answer. Sure we have also revitalise D3 and we are using it as describe. I forgot add a photo. So I am speaking to misting the cage during the day not fogging at night. This is the exact rotation they recommend.
EP-A 1st feeding
EP-A 2nd feeding
EP-A 3rd feeding
Calmg 4th feeding
EP-A 5th feeding
EP-A 6th feeding
EP-A 7th feeding
Revitalize D3 8th feeding
Cycle starts again from the beginning.
Arcadia revitalize is your multivitamin. It has very low levels of D3 and A so you have to ensure that UVB is spot on.
yes he (Albert) he's a real sweetheart, he never pisses on us. Regarding saline for ultra sensitive eyes, should I find something special or is it the same as for humans? How should I apply it to him? ThanksYou got a cutie there! I think Bemans give is spot on about misting the whole cage. Your boys eyelids have pronounced openings which will lead too molting the entire eye at once impossible. This will be a repeat issue if you don’t figure it out. He closes his eye because it’s very hard to keep it open all the time when it feels like something is in it and scratching it. In the first pic he is moving the eye ball around to try to get whatever it is out of his field of vision or to the side so it won’t hurt anymore. The recommendation of flushing with saline for this episode is good but I would like to add that I use saline for ultra sensitive eyes. It has less salt in it and is better for all eyes. Good luck to you. I hope you get this figured out before an eye infection sets in cause dealing with that is vet only and I have spent a fortune thru the years.
