My chameleon laying eggs????

I have read I need a sandbox for her to lay eggs in is this true and how do I Know when she is about to lay them?
@jannb may be able to help you with the specifics. You will need a laying bin about 50/50 pland sand and organic soil that is moist enough to hold a tunnel. Usually you will know she is getting ready to lay when she starts pacing.

What species of chameleon? Veiked?
How old is she? Is it female for sure?
Please post some recent photos.

There should be an egglaying bin in the cage so she can show you when she's ready to lay. It should be opaque and at least 12" deep x 8" x 8" . inuse washed playsand that is just moist enough to hold a tunnel. The best brand I've found is produced by Kings and comes in a white bag with red, blue and yellow sandbox toys on it.
