Current Problem

My Veiled Chameleon is lying catatonic on the bottom of it's cage.

Yesterday my chameleon was stalking cricket and my hand was in the cage to help stir the crickets out of the corner of the cage. She then used my hand as a ballast as she went to grab one. The moment she launched her tongue she slipped, instantly put on her black stripes, and fell to the bottom of the cage. She's still breathing and moves some but is still pretty much in the fetal position.
I mean I named her Derp for obvious reasons but this derp herped and now she's in a lot of pain.
All joking aside I am really desperate and need some help.

*note: She was already catatonic and in the fetal position before she hit the bottom of the cage. The instant movement freeze happened on the way down.

Is she normal colors now? Does she appear to have any bruises?

(Your husbandry is fine, but you may want to upgrade cage size when she is older)

If she is laying there, unable to do much, she is definitely in pain and probably heavily bruised her skin, organs, or broke something :(

Just try to keep her warm, hydrated, and get her to a vet if she is laying there like she is unable to move.

She does't appear to have any bruises and her colors are fairly normal. However, she doesn't usually speckle in black like she is now.
I'm aware of the cage situation. I've already obtain another and currently retrofitting a new cage to hopefully put her in.

*Note: she hasn't moved without my help in a day and a half.

Lose the night light

Sounds like a vet would be the best choice right now. I'm also pretty new with this, and please correct me if I'm wrong.
The items that I noticed seemed off in the husbandry is the red night light being on 24 hours a day, is not necessary, and can weaken their immune system. I think it is best to use a regular household light during the day (refer to care sheet for veilds for proper wattage ( I believe 60 watt ). Turn off basking and UVB light at night. Chameleons need complete darkness at night. Also I think that meal worms are best given only a couple times a week as a treat, and not as a regular feeder. I don't know if any of this is related to what is going on right now, but maybe it could help in the future. There is a ton of good information in the care sheets! Hope your girl is better soon.

^ You are right, did not catch the red night light thing.

Definitely have no light on at night :)

Also, the top priority right now is getting your chameleon to a vet IMO

How far did she fall, and what did she land on?

Chams are built to take falls, and they fall from trees in the wild to escape a predator.

A short distance fall of a few feet should not harm a cham, but sounds like something happened allong the way.

Yeah forgot to mention that, my cham fell 4 feet and was fine, but like I mentioned, maybe the cham broke something, bruised something important, hit its head too hard, or had damage to the nervous system in it's spinal cord maybe.

The Fall

she fell the distance of the cage and hit the bottom flat. It's not like she hasn't fell before. This is by far the shortest fall she has taken. (She's only fallen 3 times).
I'm taking her to the vet today. Hopefully he/she can tell me something.
