My Chameleon will not lay her eggs?

I currently have a 7 month old veiled chameleon who began to look bloated about 10 days ago, My first thought was that she may be ready to lay her eggs so I took her 8 days ago to the vet and got X-rays done. She in fact has a clutch of eggs. The vet recommend that I take her home and wait for a few days. I have two nesting boxes set up since we got home from the vet, one with sand and one with soil but she hasn't been interested in either, I have her terrarium covered so she has privacy. Her terrarium is 4'tall and 4'wide with lots of plants (real and fake) with two basking spots and uvb lighting 12hr on an 12hr off, misting every two hours, also she has a water dish and bubble hose. This little chameleon gets 3-5 crickets a day and butter worms as a treat. She also gets liquid calcium syringed fed everyday (recommended amount by her vet) she likes to be handled a couple times a week, I am very worried that she has not layed her eggs yet and I am wondering if there is something else I can do for her? Something different with we nesting boxes? And if she does began to lay her eggs do I leave her lights on? Or stick to her normal cycle?

Is she still eating normal amount of food??
Does she pacing around in her cage up n down???
How deep is ur laying bin with the sand n soil???
You can leave her light on in the normal cycle.

Unfortunately she has been eating less, after one or two crickets she shows no interest, her nesting boxes are about 6 inches and she hasn't been digging in them at all, she has however been going to the bottom of her enclosure and pacing from her basking spot (near the top of the enclosure) back to the bottom? Often

My suggestion to u is increasing the depth double amount u had right now,make sure the medium are not going to collapse when she digging in,try to dig a hole yourself to see if it holds the shape of the tunnel in there,cause she wont dig the hole if the medium is too dry or too wet...the things u described are the right sign before she start to lay...be patience n dont disturb her let the nature take its course. Thank you so much, I'm new to this site and she's my first veiled. Would you recommend just having one nesting box? Should it be soil or sand? (Play sand)

Your welcome, one nest box with 12in depth in the playsand,or u can mix both together,it all depends on ur chamy herself as long its wet enough to make a tunnel without collapse in.
