My Chameleons Tongue Is Black ?

Hey , I have a 8 month old female veiled chameleon and i was feeding her some mealworms 5 mins ago and i seen her toung was black not all of it but bits of it , does anyone know what this is ????????? ,

Please post a picture of it if possible.

Different chameleons have different colors on their tongues and even the rest of their mouths...so its hard to tell if its normal without seeing it.

Thanks , i will try and get a picture of her when she is eating tommoro a post it , but do you think this is normal ?? or is it something i need to worry abou ???

If its not swollen or infected looking then its likely normal. Hard to tell without seeing it.
