My chameleons

do you mean the chameleon on page one picture number 4?
is is a furcifer verrucosus. ´but i ve sold it. it´s the bluest one i ve ever seen.

my cristatus female hasn´t layed her eggs yet.
i think she´s gravid about 2 months now.
may be i ll go to a vet. on wednesday. but i´m not sure if that is the best for her.

regards patrick

@ cainscham do you have some pictures of your crested chams? have you already breed them?

Nice quads Patrick! You're getting a very nice montane chameleon collection there,

best regards

Joery

Wow.... you have some pretty fantastic lizards... lovely photo's too, you should enter somw in the photo contest. :D

I wanted to get some cresteds... I read they do better in a glass tank rather than a screened one

Hi,

i dont use any screenvivs.
i only use woodenvivs with plastic lamination.
the top is complete screen an in the front i have 1m x10cm frontscreen.
for me i think its enough. my crested are doing very fine. i keep them since one year now, but also i ve heard that most imported crested chams died after a few days or month.

i ve bought a pair of ch. montium a few weeks ago.
for my sadness the female died ,cause she was gravid and wasn´t very healthy.
on saturday i got a new female. it s very small, about 3 months old, but i wasn´t able to find an adult female.

Patrick, your young montium female looks very nice. I noticed you used your finger to keep her up on the branch. They can be so skittish. I have a very difficult time photographing the younger of this species. I have a WC pair which are not quite as skittish as the CB/CH babies. They are doing well. *knock on wood*

I really like the photos of your cristatus as well. They are a very interesting species.

Your quads look really good. I took in a couple of rescues about a month ago and when I tested them, they had a lot of flagellates. They were so emaciated but I'm hoping they recover and gain some weight.

Thank you for sharing photos of your animals. :)

Hi everybody,

i m very sure that my crested female is gravid again. shes colored dark green and black again like the first time!
i m also sure that ive seen a few little eggsshape at her backside.
it will be interested now to see if she will be gravid for a shorter time because now in summertime the temperature is a little bit more than in wintertime.
i

If so, that old bath tub is AMAZING!
Could you post a recent pic here of that enclosure.
Thanks
