I just realized that my male veiled chameleons tongue is white is this normal?

Rn he's sleeping but in the morning I will post one right away. Also how am I supposed to get his mouth open

Some chams get mad at the camera so maybe if he does he will open his mouth. Thats the only way I can think of unless he lets you hold him. My vet just gently pulls the extra skin under Starks head/chin and he opens or she puts 2 finger behind his head and he also opens.

I think you should call the vet because stomatitis is mouth rot and it could be the beginning. He may need probiotics and ill bet thats from the dr rx

Today I went to take a pic and noticed his tongue is no longer white. Now it is a pink color I am glad that it went away and thank you to everybody that helped me
