Hi all. I have a Repti Fogger that I bought a year or two ago that I figured I would try and rig up to work with my reptarium.
I found a piece of PVC pipe about 3/4 inch in diameter and I cut it down to a smaller size (around 15 inches or so- I didnt measure, just guesstimated). I washed it out really well and then took my husband's drill and drill bits and went to work making holes down the length evenly spaced apart. Nothing was really measured out, I just eyeballed it as I drilled. I am not sure what size holes I made but I had to make them wider after the first test because I was unhappy with how it was flowing. I sanded down the holes so there would be no snagging on my reptarium and I also took a round file to the inside to smooth out the burrs from drilling holes. I needed to cap the end of the pvc pipe so I found something to plug the hole that also had a hanging hook (which was a plus because I can hang this bar vertically IN the enclosure if I want to). I ended up duct taping it all together before I finally do seal it off with silicone or something similar. It still is a work in progress. I may widen the holes so more mist can come out or even heat up some pvc and do a sort of horseshoe shape or something.
I have a little more tweaking to do (widen holes)... if the fogger is on high, there will be a puddle of water under the holes and the mist will not flow out (it will sit on the mesh). The dripping from the tube is good because it also provides water to my panther.
If you want to see another angle of it, let me know and I will take more pics.
