Well this is my first post so I guess I should start by saying hi! I'm Amanda, I'm 24, live on the south coast of England, I'm the manager of a new shop called Wild World Reptiles and I just got my first chameleons! Soooo I've found myself in possession of a pair of Hoehnelii chams as of last week, and they're gorgeous :)

And I also very naughtily bought a cute little male blue bar ambilobe last weekend too!

Thank you! I'm sure I will have plenty more photos to share once they've had some more time to settle in too :D

Thank you! I only heard of Hoehnelii's myself last year when a friend of mine got a pair, so I don't think they're overly common, I'm sure they'll start making more of an appearance in the future though :)

Hello, I just recently got my first chameleons too - I got a pair of Yemen chams though.
I also didn't know about the variety that is now starting to grow in the UK, I have never even seen any other than one shop with Yemens!
Good luck with your new business, I hope you have success and maybe I can buy something from you later :D

Welcome to the forum. As you are a reptile shop manager we all hope your shop will be a animal friendly with great short term husbandry and knowledge.

Hoenellis are wonderful Chameleons. As they are a montane species, I cannot afford to keep them in the tropical and hot Hong Kong. Gongratulations to your beautiful Chams.

Hiya, congrats on your new babies! Have you got any pics to share? :)
It's still early days at the shop I work at but so far we've only had a pair of true blue Nosy Be panther chams for sale, the male sold within the first few weeks but the little female is still with us, she's an absolute character :) I know of a few shops locally to me that have a couple of different species in which is great, I like to see a variety of species!
Thank you so much :D we have an online shop too but the shop is also definitely worth a visit, we have lots of gorgeous animals to drool over!

Thank you! I hope I will be able to help out too, I'm still learning with regards to chameleons but I'd be more than happy to help with a lot of other species, especially snakes!

I have a few pics of them, but I have not got around to putting pictures online yet. It would be nice to visit you, but I'm in Leeds now and from Newcastle originally. I don't get that far south very often, so it'd have to be online if I did make an order :D
