Its odd I know that other people on here have had sucess with feeding babies silk worms.
But my baby-ish panthers dont seem to understand that silkies are food. They walk all over them and some times just stand on them LOL!
But if you can get them to eat them when their a bit bigger, I dont think baby baby panthers could???, that would be a great part of their diet.
Yea sometimes itll take a couple days after getting them for them to start noming with full force. My babies eat any where from 10-20ish crickets a day.
Ive been told to dust the flies though I dont use them often they use to get out of the bin but I just found out to keep them from getting out of the bin (if your using one) is to use smooth packing tape.
LOL I do the same thing when I work late sometimes.... He looks good. My Ambilobe has never been a big eater or drinker. sometimes heats a lot and sometimes only a couple. My Nosy however always eats all but one. For some reason he always saves one... How does his waste look ??
Mulberry farms has silks small enough for him and they are is so cal. Silks are really good for hydration.
that is good you want to make sure the white stays white and is not orange. White means hydrated and orange would mean he needs more water.
Looks good. If you can get a side shot of his tale people or I might be able to tell you a sex. Mulberry farms has great feeders but it is easier to just order online if you are that far away.
haha, its hilarious when they put their hands in the air. awesome pictures! I wanted a baby so bad but decided with the enclosure I had already built an adult was smarter for me.
enjoy your time with the lil guy! he looks awesome. looks like a little blue is showing in that last outdoor picture
