Hi everyone! I will be getting a 2-3 month old Veiled in about a week, and I just finished setting up my cage! If anyone has any suggestions that would be amazing, and I will try and answer all questions.
Cage Conditions
I'm using a Reptisun 5.0 for UVB and a ZooMed 75W Repti basking spot lamp for heat and UVA. Temps at the center of the basking stick closest to the lamp average around 83 F. In the "pocket" at the center of the cage, temps stay around 65-70 F. When the lights are off, temperatures stay around 63-64 F. Humidity shoots up to 70-80 after misting, and can go down to 55 when the cage dries. I'm also finding a place to install a Little Dripper for extra humidity. I mist 3 times a day for 3 mins, and once for 1 min.
Environment
I have 2 fake vines, one fake Pothos vine, two Golden Pothos, one Dragon Tree, and one small Parlor Palm, as well as a ton of sticks for climbing. My basking spot is about 6.5 inches from the lamp. All real plants have the top 2-3 inches (4.5 inches in the Dragon Tree) of soil replaced with organic, compost, pesticide free soil, and then a layer of large black rocks.
