Laurie, Tommy is like a male version of Lily! He came from the same breeder originally and the shop owner worked her 'magic' on him. I wish I knew what it is exactly that she does to get such friendly chams! She did say that he was very chilled and calm even as a tiny baby.

Yes, I know that when I got Lily I didn't like the look of the males so much as they seemed so big! Funny how things turn out - I ended up getting a rather large boy with a massive casque, lol!!

Emma, it is quite possible that Tommy and Hugo are related! The shop gets their chameleons from Marcus Langford. I think all the owner does is handle them consistently, and most probably daily, from when they are tiny. They get them in at 6 weeks or so but don't sell them straight away. From what I have been told Tommy was always calm as a baby and happy to be handled. He is just like the big male in the shop - he loves people too and as soon as he sees someone come in he starts tapping on his door, lol!

I need to go in soon and buy Amy's new UV lights so I will ask her if she has any advice that I can pass on to you. She has 'tamed down' really bitey chams that are now happy to be handled. She has also been bitten several times in the process, but whatever she does seems to work in the end!
