Wow! Congrats! I’m going to have wax moths soon because I only give Eustis a wax worm once in awhile. I’ve had this dish of them for over a month and they’re pupating! My bsfl are turning into flys to so I open Eustis’s cage and let them go In there!

If you cage is large enough, you can use a hummingbird feeder to feed them, they only eat while flying so bear that in mind.

That is so awesome! I have 4 hornworm caterpillars in a huge fish tank. One is hiding under the dirt.

So awesome! That little one is starting it pupating process. I made a bigger setup for mine and I had 7 dig in to pupate yesterday. I’m excited.

I was picking some tomatos a few days ago and saw a wild hornworm on the tomato plant... not sure where it came from I never saw eggs and only 1 found. Hopefully you get eggs!

Congratulations! That is awesome! We have about 10 of them that just pupated - it’s our first attempt at breeding them. Hope we have as much success getting moths.

One of them died. Another disappered. One is a pupa and one is still growing.

I changed my setup up. I really hate bug burger, it molds so quickly. Silk chow works well but it’s all really kinda messy. I’m trying to mimic a natural environment.
The sweet potato vines grow super fast, I’m hoping they will be able to keep up with their appetite. I have a mulberry tree setup too. The trees are propagating So it’ll be a little bit before they are ready for hungry critters. That will be my silk setup.

That's a good thing for you! They'll destroy the plant, plus you can't feed them off because they'll be toxic from eating the plant, too!Why does everyone get caterpillars on their plants, but me?

I put certain plants for the benefit of the insects. Like I have a lot of parsley for the black swallowtails but I didn't get any.
