Snail shells offer natural calcium for montanes, they can be purchased from nilesbio.com, snails, just like mealworms, are not meant for a staple, so in moderation are great, just like mealworms, when used in moderation are perfectly fine.

Sorry if it's obvious, but which snails would you use as a feeder on the nilesbio.com website?

land snails, I believe that is what they are listed as, I breed my own snails since they are a little expensive. If you have questions feel free to PM me.

thanks for that link, it's an interesting website. the snails are kinda pricey, but I guess buying a few then breeding those would work. maybe pointless for me right now, since its a very occasional food and I only have one cham.
