It seems I keep getting more Kinyongia species:D If you cant tell I am completely infatuated with them:rolleyes: Instead of making new threads I am going to post all updates and new arrivals on this thread.

Here is the female CH K. multituberculata that I received today from FLchams. She is three months old and as you can tell she is very shy and has tons of attitude for a small girl.

This picture does him or the girls NO justice! It gives you a good idea but the colors are so much more electrifying in person!

Check back for updates!!!

Great Pics Cain, Congrats! I'm really beginning to understand the infatuation with these little creatures, If they were readily available here, Im sure Id have a variety of species already!
Enjoy your kinyongia's! :)

Yea, ever since I got these WC, I've fallen in love with them......so small and cute...lol Personality plus for these little ones!!

Nice pics, such a cool species and very cute. FL chams has provided me w/ some good supplies and genetics. I was thinking of raising jacksons, but it looked like he was out of them at the time.

Wow... gorgeous multituberculata, Jared! Mike did a fantastic job raising her. The tavetana are looking better and better every day. Great photos!

Cheers,

Fabián

Thanks everyone!!!!!!!

Haley, I hope the cristatus are still doing well!

Brye,

Daytime temps never exceed 80 degrees ambient in my montane room. The bottom to middle of the enclosures are between 70 and 75, middle to top is 75 to 80 (usually about 76 to 78). I provide them with a basking spot no higher than 85 (usually around 80 to 82). Humidity is between 60% and 80% during the day (rarely ever 60% and usually around 75%.

Night time temps are always in the lower 60s to upper 50s. The humidity is always says high on my temp gauge. Im not sure what the last number it gets to before it says high. At least over 90%. I also have a fan for extra air flow. It blows from the ground up. The humidifier is on a stand and the fan is below on the ground so it spreads the mist better. There is no AC or fans blowing directly on the cages either.

I really admire your dedication to only a few, less commonly kept species. You've done a great job with the tavetana - that male rocks! Have fun with them.

Double post

Im cooking hot Italian sausage spaghetti at the moment MMMMMMMMMM!

Joery, thank you!!!! I just love this genus!!!! I drool over your tenuis pics everyday!!!!!!:D

BTW, when are you sending some to me?????? This is no joke either.

Thanks, Fabián! She is very nice and almost flawless. She should fit in here just perfect;) The tavetana are growing slowly but surely. They are still the favorites of my collection:)

Edit: Thanks Trace!!!! I may have not seen the girl if it werent for you!!!!!

Jared,

They look real good. The tavatana are growing nicely and its nice to see that you have an unrelated CH pair of multituberculata. Good job.

Chris

Hey pal if there's any room left on those ass cheeks i would like to plant my lips on there as well they look great cant wait til the next batch hatches my guy needs a lady!!!!!Best just to wait you and i both know how most w.c. tavs end up from expierence:(

Thanks Chris! I meant to type CB mutlituberculata. None the less two healthy specimen to work with:D I got pretty lucky with this one.

AJA, if everything goes smoothly it will still be a while before any babies from the multituberculata are available. Hopefully I get some tavetana hatchlings around Christmas;)

Phil, not much room left on my small ass:rolleyes: Yes I know all to well how horrible they come in. I am just lucky to have had 3 females lay in the last year or so. Out of 9 WCs I only have 1 female left. She laid 3 or so months ago and seems to be thriving. Lets just hope these eggs hatch!!!!!

Joery, thank you!!!! I just love this genus!!!! I drool over your tenuis pics everyday!!!!!!:D

BTW, when are you sending some to me?????? This is no joke either.

Thanks, they are indeed beautiful chameleons, unfortunately no hatchlings will be sold from this species because they will all be kept in our own research project to fully understand their husbandry and breeding requirements.

I dont blame you!!!:) I would do the same;) I hope you have great success with them, and then send me some in a couple years!!!!!

Couldnt resist taking pics of the Kinyongia species while I had the camera out:rolleyes:

The CB female is way too nervous and gets super stressed when I do anything but water and feed her. The male is also very nervous but I coaxed him out with some crickets today.
